The Molecular Evolution Laboratory at Unesp in Rio Claro, a key player in the CBioClima initiative, is responsible for core research activities within the “Microbiome for Sustainable Solutions” Working Pack. This pack is not just about analysis, but about making a real difference. It focuses on analyzing the microbiomes of preserved forests, agroecosystems, and degraded areas, with the aim of combining agricultural productivity and biodiversity conservation to ensure innovative sustainability and strengthen the productive sector. Your actions will be instrumental in understanding, preserving, restoring, and maximizing ecosystem engineering provided by interactions between insects, plants, and microorganisms.

PhD 1: Characterization of microbial diversity in soil and plant samples collected from highly conserved Brazilian biomes. (fellowship, monthly stipend: R$ 5.520,00 - R$ 6.810,00)
PhD 2: Characterization of microbial diversity in soil and plant samples collected from highly degraded and agroecosystem areas adjacent to Brazilian biomes. (fellowship, monthly stipend: R$ 5.520,00 - R$ 6.810,00)
PhD 3: Characterization of microbial functional diversity in attine ants garden in different Brazilian biomes. (fellowship, monthly: R$ 5.520,00 - R$ 6.810,00)
MSc: Isolation, identification, and determination of growth rate of promising microbes found in soil and plant samples collected from highly conserved Brazilian biomes. (fellowship, monthly stipend: R$ 3.120,00 - R$ 3.300,00)
